Background
The call log is the most important feature in our app. It receives the highest traffic, and the is the main reason prospects purchase our service. We discovered several UX issues with the call log page while working with our support team. This page includes more columns that can fit on the screen and users are required to scroll horizontally in order to view all of them. However, users were unaware that they could scroll right and logged several support ticked assuming the app was broken. Users also logged multiple support tickets asking for the ability to export, edit columns, and search their data.
Mission
Redesign the call log screen to make it immediately intuitive that users can scroll to the left to view more columns. Add functionality to allow users to search, edit columns, and export table. Create a default view that includes the most important pieces of data. And finally, make the filters more visible.
